How To Choose The Best Computers For You Part-2

It is a device for creating graphics or visual data from the computer to the screen. This makes the computer faster because it handles the processing tasks of the processor and lets the processor perform other tasks. Graphics cards are mainly used for computer games and tasks that include graphics such as video editing, visual effects, and 3D animations. It also has the ability to link to multiple screens so you can use multiple monitors. Graphics cards have their own RAM and processor that determines the price.

Power supply (power supply)

All electronic components require power supplies for operation and computers are no exception. The power consumption of the computer depends on the components on the computer. The power requirement is measured in watts and the higher the wattage, the more expensive the power source becomes. Things like the processor, the size of the hard drive, the amount of RAM, and the type of video card in the computer have measured some power requirements in watts. The power of the power supply is determined by the total power of the added components. A computer with lots of RAM, a large hard drive, a powerful graphics card and a powerful processor needs a powerful power supply that can do all of this simultaneously with less powerful components. The incorrect power supply may cause the computer to start or shut down due to insufficient power.
Fortunately, there are websites where you can calculate the power consumption of a computer and even propose a good power source for the computer.

Everything we’ve seen so far, except the power supply, has a miniaturized version that’s used in laptops. The smaller versions of these components are slightly more expensive and consume relatively little energy. Therefore, a laptop and a desktop with exactly the same specifications will in most cases be different, since the laptop is more expensive mainly because of the convenience of mobility. If you plan to use the computer while traveling, you will probably have a laptop and it will be more expensive.

In conclusion, choosing the right computer is not that difficult for you if you have an idea of what you will use. Depending on the specifications of the computer, you can have an idea of how much it will cost. You can also avoid unnecessarily spending money on a computer with features you do not use. It’s also a good idea to know these things to avoid being cheated and spending money that could be saved or used for something else.

How To Protect Your System From Ransomware

Technology has traveled many miles and computers have become an integral part of our lives. E-mail, watch movies, listen to music or pay bills online. In addition, ransomware has become a major threat due to our daily obsession with computers. However, maintaining the safety and privacy of your machine should be a top priority. So tell us some tips for protecting your ransomware system. Let’s start!

1. Make a backup copy of your data

Securing your data often reduces the risk of losing critical information such as documents, data files, photos, and more. You can back up your data in the cloud storage service or on an external hard drive. If something goes wrong with your computer, the backup data will always be restored.
Note: Every time you attack a computer, keep in mind that not all viruses will be targeted to your data files, some will only favor applications.

2. Periodically update applications and the operating system

Upgrading your computer not only allows you to run the latest operating system but also to protect your repair errors and send security vulnerabilities to your computer. If you run your computer on the latest operating system, security holes will not become infected or vulnerable. In addition, hackers can use software bugs to find a place on their computer.

3. Download music and apps from

It is always recommended to install applications and music from reliable sources to secure your computer. In addition, the official websites and the portal have been tested and tested to ensure that no malware or viruses are found on your computer.

4. Disable automatic playback

There are many times you visit a website and the unsolicited video begins to play alone. Not only is it a frustrating experience, but it can sometimes be a reason to start the hacker attack. However, this can be the use of external media files on memory cards, pen drives, or an attachment in an email. To protect your system from ransomware, you must disable the autoplay videos on your computer and in your browser.

5. Use an antivirus program

It is not possible to manually detect or recognize all viruses. For this reason, developers have developed anti-virus and anti-ransomware software to make sure it is not attacked or attacked that way. Using anti-ransomware, you can check your system to prevent malware, viruses, and other errors from being downloaded and avoided before you install them.

6. Use a strong password

When you set a password for your computer, you protect your data from others like yourself and spy on friends and strangers when you’re not there. This is the basic security to protect your confidential information on your computer.
It is not recommended to use the same password for a long time as this increases the risk of someone guessing your password. Get used to changing your passwords frequently and avoid short, easy-to-guess words such as names and phrases. It is always recommended to use a strong password with a combination of alphanumeric and special characters.

7. Do not open the links you received from unknown senders

Whenever you receive a suspicious email or suspicious link for you, do not open it or download it. This is the most common way to infect your system and hack your network. In addition, this is the most common way to spread the virus.

8. Beware of false warnings

There are hundreds of websites available online that offer free system analysis to correct problems with your computer and to update outdated drivers and software. Before you trust these scans, you need to check if the site is original or not. It is always wise to use only reliable sources to perform a full scan of your computer components.

How To Choose The Best Computers For You Part-1

Choosing a computer for someone who is not a “techie” can be a daunting and expensive process. This book serves as a guide to choosing a computer that meets your needs and even your budget without having to attend a computer course. Looking for help in a computer store may not always work the way you want it. They try to make sales, and so they will try to buy something really expensive that they can not use completely or sell anything insignificant just to get rid of the action. After all, they are a business. Anyway, it would be better to know or get an idea of what you need. Here are some things that affect the cost and performance of a computer. Always remember that the Internet is your friend, so always research and look for local offers.

This is what you need for memory and it is measured in bytes. Here is better. Hard drives may have up to 500 GB (gigabytes) in 2017 up to 15 TB (terabytes). Ask yourself how much data you want to store on your computer. If you only want to save family photos and work or school documents. In this case, you do not need much storage space, from 500GB to 1TB of storage is more than enough for you. On the other hand, if you plan to save movies and TV shows to see later, you can download more. Most modern computer games have a higher memory requirement. So, if you plan to be a player and you also have a lot of movies, you will need a bigger hard drive (2TB or more).

This is the “brain” of the computer where all calculations are done as in any other electronic device. This is measured by the number of cores and the speed of these cores, measured in gigahertz (GHz). Most computers today use AMD or Intel processors with a wide variety of models. Processors with a larger number of cores and speeds have better performance and are more expensive. Again, it is advisable to choose the purpose of the computer. If the computer is to be used with working papers, textbooks, and films, it does not need anything very strong, 2 hearts should be fine.
More complex tasks such as data computation, visual effects, and video editing require a more powerful and expensive processor. It will also determine how much RAM can be used in the computer.
Fortunately, software vendors today provide you with the recommended processor that works best with your software so you can boot from your websites.

The data must be cached somewhere before it is extracted from the disk and then sent to the processor. This is where RAM comes into play and is measured like gigabytes (GB) of memory. The amount of RAM you use depends mainly on the workload you want to impose on the computer.
Powerful processors work better with a lot of RAM because they process data faster. The small amount of RAM causes bottlenecks in the high-performance processors because the processor processes the raw data faster than the RAM can deliver. Here, the amount of RAM needed depends on the processor and the type of job the computer is being used for.
Small tasks like watching movies, listening to music and reading or writing documents do not need a lot of RAM, from 2 GB to 4 GB should be enough. Data destruction, visual effects, video editing, and the reproduction of modern computer games require more RAM. Software vendors and game developers also specify the recommended amount of RAM for using their products on their websites.

What is Solar Energy

The sun is also the ultimate source of energy generated by wind, water, and fossil fuels. It works like this. The heat of the sun drives the air currents and the circulation of the water in wind turbines and dams. In the meantime, plants also grow on the rays, which eventually become wood, coal, and gas. What would happen if we can cut the direct path between the sun and the energy we use every day?

Let’s go back a bit to understand the true power and potential of the sun. The sun is a huge and flaming gas ball, 330,000 times as massive as the earth. In his heart, the sun is 27 million degrees Celsius, which is 60 thousand times the temperature of the oven when cooking a pizza! The sun radiates much energy in space in the form of heat and light called solar energy. If we could all capture the solar energy that has reached the surface of the earth, we can continuously work a 25-inch TV on every square meter of the earth and still have extra energy.

At the moment we do not use all that energy. Instead, we depend mainly on coal, oil, natural gas and other sources. But these sources are not renewable, which means they will eventually disappear. In fact, if we know these renewable resources in the amount we now use, we could continue to run out of oil and gas over the next 50 years or so and coal could run for the next 115 years. These nonrenewable resources are not only depleted, they also pollute our planet and contribute to climate change. On the other hand, the sun’s energy will not be “exhausted” for the next 5 billion years. This makes it a renewable resource. Other renewable resources such as wind and water can also provide us with energy. But even all the energy we can get from all these sources is still less than 1% of the sun’s energy reaching the Earth! It is clear that the potential of solar energy puts its competitors in the shade. How exactly do we benefit from solar energy?

Solar panels convert sunlight directly into usable electricity using special materials such as silicon. Another way to take advantage of solar energy is a process called concentrated solar energy that uses thousands of mirrors to reflect sunlight onto a tower. The heat trapped in the tower circulates in a steam turbine that generates electricity. But even if we capture these promising solar energy technologies, the use of great solar power still poses many challenges. For example, the amount of solar energy we can enjoy varies depending on where and when. Some parts of the world receive more sunlight than others: the solar panels in the Sahara will produce more energy than Seattle. But even in the sunniest places, sunlight is still not constant. Changing seasons, the day-to-night cycle and even clouds in the sky can reduce the amount of available energy. Provide solar energy when and where it is least available. We need to improve energy storage systems. Above all, we also need to make solar technologies more efficient and cheaper.

At present, less than 1% of the total energy produced and used in the US comes from solar energy. But as more and more researchers, individuals, businesses and government agencies realize their amazing potential, we are approaching solar energy. Society every day. The more we progress in the use of solar energy, the brighter our future will be!
